I'm Alive!

Hey guys! So sorry for neglecting you...It wasn't really on purpose.
I'd like to blame it on Verizon for screwing up our internet order 4 times in the 3 weeks I was out in Texas.
It's a long story.
So yeah, I'm back in Utah! And so much has happened, it's slightly overwhelming.
Ready for a list of happenings in the past month & a half? Here we go...
-Celebrated our anniversary at Anniversary Inn.
We stayed in the room "Juliet's Balcony." It was really beautiful and we loved relaxing together!

-I spent some time with my favorite Gordon fam at Baby Animal Days in Logan.
I'm missing these girls and can't wait to see them again!

-Spent a fun day at a cute wedding in between packing.
I guess I forgot to get a pic with the bride and groom...

-Said goodbye to our first apartment together :(
Thanks to my dad and brothers, we were out of there really quick!

-Said see ya to our friends at Happy Sumo.
It was a fantastic way to spend our anniversary!

-Off to Texas we went! 21 hours straight + an over packed car = awesome...
 Hello, Texas!

-Jon got ATTACKED by a dog on his first day knocking doors.
Poor dude. You should ask him to show his scars on his cute bum.
{Let me know if you'd like to hear the story}

-I worked in their office for 3 1/2 weeks.
-Lots of paperwork.
-Lots of pooltime.
-Lots of bugs. One blended in with our couch, creepy!
-I watched my Feller get tanner and tanner each day.
Whatahunk.
-Our upstairs neighbors were up all night and walked really loud.
-Spent too much money on gas. It was a bit ridiculous. Long story.
-Got lost multiple times on my way home from work.
-Dealt with greasy hair and face due to the humidity.
-Poor poor poor. We all need to experience this, right?
-Went to dinner with my long lost friend, Reggi! We went to her hotel that SHE DESIGNED.
Look at this, it's amazing. The pics don't do it justice, though.
-Made some great friends.
-Went to six movies...it kinda became a hobby.

-I left my Feller last Sunday and headed to California :(
3 weeks left! I don't think I'm gonna make it.

-Trained in California for a week to manage Yogurtland!
Admit it: I look ridiculously good in my uniform, right?

-Flew back to Utah on Saturday and I am now living with my favorite Holt's!
I'm so excited to spend time with them and get ready for Holt baby#2 to arrive in August!
Love my Ave.

I've been busy busy since getting back, and it's only going to get crazier!
If you're in the Bounty-land area anytime soonish, we're opening doors so soon!
We're hoping for Friday or Saturday. Cross your fingers.

Hopefully I don't neglect this poor thing any longer!
Now it's time to skype with my cute hubby.

I'ma I'ma Diva

2 days before the wedding, my mom, grandma, Britt, Ave and I went and got manicures and pedicures. When I got there look what I found...

Little Miss Diva.
Ave got a hold of Britt's lip gloss. She did a pretty good job for a two year old!
I love my nieces and nephews, they are too cute for words.

Anxious

I'm feeling a bundle of emotions lately...NERVOUS. That is what I am today.
This past weekend was really great. Friday: Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, Thanks friends! Saturday: Received my endowments in the Logan temple. All but a few of Jon's siblings came up with his parents, and my Dad & DeeDee came, as well as Heidi, Tyrell, Aub and Seth. It was the most amazing experience and I can't wait to go back, often. After the temple we enjoyed lunch at Logan's infamous Cafe Sabor, then the families helped us move in. Our apartment is perfect. I don't think we could have found better, for reals! Thanks to Britt and Nick, our living room/dining area looks perfect with the couch and kitchen table/chairs they gave us when they left me to move to Salt Lake. I miss them. And thank you Dad and DeeDee for the bed, we would have been camping out on the floor! And thanks to a bunch of wonderful family members and friends, our house is becoming a home with all the great gifts to fill it with!
After that we went to the Supercross in Salt Lake with my dad's side. It was way more fun than I would have ever expected! Probably because there was a little 7 year old in front of Jon and I that kept smiling and batting his eye lashes at...me! He made sure I was rooting for the same racer as him, and told me I better come back next year. What a little heartbreaker.
Sunday was the newest Feller nephew's baby blessing. It was a beautiful sacrament meeting. I was fortunate to hear the testimonies of multiple family members, including none other than my feeAWNsay. Following was a brunch that consisted of some of THE best breakfast foods I've had.
Yum.
The rest of that day was just full of some much needed Sunday re-boosting and family. I'm so grateful for both mine and Jon's families. I wouldn't be able to begin this new jouney in life without each and every member.
I don't know if I'll be able to blog before the big day. I can't believe it's just a few days away! If you don't hear from me between now and the 17th, just know we are enjoying ourselves on a cruise to Meheeko and on the beach in Sandy-Eggo.
Holla'!

Queen of...

Bridal Showers! That is what I am. :) Today wrapped it up for the bridal showers in my life. I was so fortunate to have 5 showers within the past month. Thank you everyone who threw them and came, I love you so much! It began with the Feller's, Margo and her girls threw such a cutely decorated shower in March. Then my girls Val and Jame threw a friend's shower, breakfast at Village Inn at the beginning of this month. Next was my mom's side of the family, Britt and my Grandma threw a lovely shower at the Grand America. Tea time anyone? Last night we had a shower with my home ward, thrown by my lovely {past} visiting teachers, Kathleen and Bridget. And today, last but not least, was my dad's side of the family. Grandma Wendy threw a joint shower for my cousin Kacey and myself. It has been SO MUCH FUN to see family and friends that I love so much come together. I must say I feel a bit awkward being the center of attention so much, so I just can't wait to return favors and throw showers for all ya'll! A big huge
THANK YOU
to everyone who has helped get this wedding ready-to-roll. It's been a long time coming, and it will be so wonderful to finally start eternity with my Feller. I couldn't have done any of the planning without my family, Jon's family, and our friends.
Thank you Thank you Thank you!
We got our bridals/groomals back today. Can't wait to show you more!

Now...time to work off all that shower food! Two weeks to go :)

So...I Sew.

``Wow this week flew by. Thank heavens!
Confession: I miss working a lot. Not necessarily full time, because that kind of got overwhelming. But now that I don't have a full time position, I am getting minimal, and I mean MINIMAL, hours. The first few months of the new year are always the slowest for the company, so payroll is really low and we all suffer. It's no fun.
Yeah sure, it's awesome just feeling like a student and having time to be somewhat of a normal person... But when Friday's roll around, it's painful. I literally have to save every penny. And I sort of miss the weekly routine. Now I just have a new class routine. MWF's are long days. T&TH's aren't too bad. Nevertheless, school is going well.

Anybody have some extra pennies?
Jon and I decided that we wanted to DATE each other, and not just "hang out" all the time. We thought it would be fun to try a new restaurant every once in a while, rather than the same 2 or 3 that we love. Have we done this yet? No. Okay, once. He took me to Tandori Oven for some Indian food. I have always had this idea that I hate Indian food. If you are like me and just decide to be picky...STOP IT. Right now. It's time to grow up people! Jk. But really, stop.

:)

Anyway, we have been spoiled by some of our family members on occasion. Nick and Britt took us to Texas Roadhouse (one of our loves) on New Years, and Burt treated us to the Olive Garden (totally a favorite) last Friday. Not to mention all the times I get to eat her delicacies at home! Thanks guys.
He dominated me at bowling. I'm pretty sure it's because he went when he was on his mission, or because he is stronger than me, or maybe he's just good..?
My sewing class is quite intense. Okay, it probably isn't, but it totally stresses me out. I sew something, don't like it, redo it, don't like it, redo it...this happens 3-7 times until I am content. Practice makes perfect, right? I'm really excited to become a pro (haha) so I can whip out my sewing machine I got for Christmas (thanks Dad and Dee Dee!) and make things. Lots of things :). As for the time I have to learn and practice, does anybody have some cool sewing-craft ideas that a rooky could do?

Sorry this post is turning into a novel.
On Tuesday, Margo (Jon's mom) came up to do some things. She took the group of us Loganites to dinner at Beehive grill (one of MY loves). Once again, treeeated. If you haven't been, go. I recommend the Caprice Italian Burger, it's divine.
