Busy Bee

I've been busy around here! Too busy to blog, which is sad.
I just figure I need to leave a little update on what's up with the Feller's.
I'm a fan of the bullet style, so here we gooo.

-I have officially been out of Texas for 7 weeks and I'm really missing it!
Jon and I could totally see ourselves living there someday. Who's ready to drive 21 hours to visit us? :)
-Yogurtland has been open for 4 weeks. It has been fun to watch it grow and get busier each week!
 I'm pretty sure I'm the most annoying person I know because all I talk about is freaking yogurt.
 What is happening to me??
-My Feller came home for 6 days for a family reunion. Oh boy, it was glorious!
I was too busy soaking him up to take any pictures, my bad.
You should've seen our reunion at the airport. It was really cute and involved an epic twirly-hug.
 Aren't twirly-hugs the best?
-We spent literally every waking minute together for 6 days straight, so sending him back to work was so so hard. It has made us both realize how important it is for him to have a career that doesn't require a ton of travel.
 We aren't good when we're apart more than a week...I'm sure you can all relate.
I am on edge. Always. Luckily work life has kept me busaaay.
-If you are fb friends with me, you may have seen that I hired a high school couple without knowing?
Oh it was so crazy to find out and I was all worried there would be drama and they would get off-task with the flirtations, but actually they are awesome! I love working with them and they are some of my best employees. They probably think I'm super lame when I'm giving them advice on how to make a high school relationship last...they are just so giggly. All the time.
-I expected to have tons of time to see friends and family as soon as I moved back to Utah, but having one day off a week doesn't give me much play time.
 It's pretty frustrating! I'm sure it won't always be like this.
Luckily I'm living with my big sista for the summer so I can at least spend sometime with her and my niece.
I definitely thought I'd see them more than I do!
-I really dislike money. REALLY dislike it. We've spent over $500 on gas out in Texas..lame!
 Let's hope it has been worth it, and the guys riding with Jon everyday will pay him back.
-I went apartment hunting around Salt Lake with my sis today..it wasn't successful.
It amazes me how expensive really crappy apartments are! One thing I need is to feel safe, and it's really hard to find a place that feels secure..and like home. Unless of course I want to spend more than a thousand each month. Which is impossible.
Here's to hoping something great will find US.
Yeah...right.
If any of you know of places in the Salt Lake area that are decent, would ya mind sharing some info?

Sorry for the lame post. Hope you are all dandy and haven't forgotten about this old blog!

For Granted

Tonight I got to spend time with my sis who is moving to Missouri next week.
We had a good time at dinner and just sitting and talking.
I'm realizing that we've taken for granted the time we could've spent together
{in between our full time lives, haha} and I'm so sad about it!
Heidi, good luck in Kirksville!
 Let's hope I'll be able to get out there sometime before Ty is done with med school ;)

I'm Alive!

Hey guys! So sorry for neglecting you...It wasn't really on purpose.
I'd like to blame it on Verizon for screwing up our internet order 4 times in the 3 weeks I was out in Texas.
It's a long story.
So yeah, I'm back in Utah! And so much has happened, it's slightly overwhelming.
Ready for a list of happenings in the past month & a half? Here we go...
 -Celebrated our anniversary at Anniversary Inn.
 We stayed in the room "Juliet's Balcony." It was really beautiful and we loved relaxing together!

-I spent some time with my favorite Gordon fam at Baby Animal Days in Logan.
 I'm missing these girls and can't wait to see them again!

-Spent a fun day at a cute wedding in between packing.
 I guess I forgot to get a pic with the bride and groom...

-Said goodbye to our first apartment together :(
Thanks to my dad and brothers, we were out of there really quick!

-Said see ya to our friends at Happy Sumo.
It was a fantastic way to spend our anniversary!

-Off to Texas we went! 21 hours straight + an over packed car = awesome...
 Hello, Texas!

-Jon got ATTACKED by a dog on his first day knocking doors.
Poor dude. You should ask him to show his scars on his cute bum.
{Let me know if you'd like to hear the story}

-I worked in their office for 3 1/2 weeks.
-Lots of paperwork.
-Lots of pooltime.
-Lots of bugs. One blended in with our couch, creepy!
-I watched my Feller get tanner and tanner each day.
Whatahunk.
-Our upstairs neighbors were up all night and walked really loud.
-Spent too much money on gas. It was a bit ridiculous. Long story.
-Got lost multiple times on my way home from work.
-Dealt with greasy hair and face due to the humidity.
-Poor poor poor. We all need to experience this, right?
-Went to dinner with my long lost friend, Reggi! We went to her hotel that SHE DESIGNED.
 Look at this, it's amazing. The pics don't do it justice, though.
-Made some great friends.
-Went to six movies...it kinda became a hobby.

-I left my Feller last Sunday and headed to California :(
 3 weeks left! I don't think I'm gonna make it.

-Trained in California for a week to manage Yogurtland!
Admit it: I look ridiculously good in my uniform, right?

-Flew back to Utah on Saturday and I am now living with my favorite Holt's!
I'm so excited to spend time with them and get ready for Holt baby#2 to arrive in August!
Love my Ave.

I've been busy busy since getting back, and it's only going to get crazier!
If you're in the Bounty-land area anytime soonish, we're opening doors so soon!
We're hoping for Friday or Saturday. Cross your fingers.

Hopefully I don't neglect this poor thing any longer!
Now it's time to skype with my cute hubby.

End of Chapter

I feel weird. Way weird.
Ever since I was sixteen years, nine months and ten days old I have been a
true Maxxinista.
aka: I've been employed at Tj Maxx.
HELLO, that was almost six years ago!
A few months ago a customer asked me how long I worked there.
My face went hot and I felt embarrassed to say 'almost six years.'
That's when I started to feel ready for a change.
I've had that feeling before, but not like that day.
Luckily changes were in the works for Jon and I!
We'll be leaving Logan in two weeks and only coming back to visit family.
{and hit up our favorite restaurants, of course}
I'm sure gonna miss the beautiful Cache Valley...
We're set to arrive in Texas on May 9th,
and we'll start working our little bums off the next day.
Three weeks later I'll be heading to California for some training,
then back to Utah to begin managing Yogurtland in Bountiful.
{opening day is planned for June 11th-ish. Get ready!!}
I'm so excited for this opportunity, thank you Josh, Amber and Jed!
Jon and I won't see each other for about 2 1/2 months other than a family reunion in July, and a possible quick-trip to Texas for me in August.
What a challenge it'll be!
SO anyone in Bountiful/Salt Lake, let's hang out :)
Change is good, right? I've learned so much working for the TJ's and
I'll be sad to say goodbye to my friends I have made...
but I'm happy these changes are positive.
This Thursday will be the end of a good chapter,
and the beginning to an even better one
:)

...

Sooo my last post may or may not have been a bit dramatic.
Sorry y'all!
I really do love my job and allllll the peeps I work with.
Pretty sure I was fed up with some customers, and being dramatic.
Really.
I'm gonna miss all my maxxinista friends come May.
I guess I haven't officially announced this over the www, but Jon and I are moving!
In May we'll be heading to good ole Texas for the summer. Hopefully succeeding as salesman and office lady.
Then in August we'll be setting up tent in Salt Lake Citayyy!
We're really excited to be closer to a lot of our family, and Jon will be going to the U.
So there ya have it. Updated on the web.
Work went well today, thanks for wondering.
:)

Welcome to our krib

What up! You know when writers experience this little thing called a "writers block?" Well I am currently in the state of "bloggers block." I can't for the life of me think of anything super cool to write about. I mean yeah, being a newlywed is way fun and exciting, but I don't think you want to hear about our day to day work routines. I still have 13 hour days, still haven't spent much more than 2 hours at home other than when I'm sleeping, but it has been so great and I'm thankful each day for the life I have been blessed with!
Well here is something for ya... yesterday I got way tired of trying to upload the fifty-something pictures from the wedding, so I decided that I'd give you a picture tour of our house we'll be living in for the next while. We seriously SCORED! Honestly, we should not be living in a place this fantastic as newlyweds, but it's just as cheap as all the little dumpy places you'll find around Logan.
Welcome to our Krib. Let us show you around.
We live in a cute townhome here in Cache Valley.
{I hope this front door isn't too recognizable to any blog creepers! (none of YOU of course :)}
Come on in! there is a nice set of stairs in the left photo
{ooo, aaa!}
On the right you see a slice of our kitchen and my husband playing his salvation when I am at work:
NFL, Playstation style.
Our little kitchen. My only complaint- Not enough storage space! Oh and some hundreds of ants creepily crawling on the floor and sometimes counters
{eeew, AAAH!}
Don't worry, Windex works!
Our living room. We're still working on getting it to feel complete, but we LOVE our (very sheddy) rug, couch (thank you Britt and Nick!) and our coffee table centerpiece that we put together for a whopping 8 bucks!
{thank you hon for-kinda- being my little model}
Shall we go upstairs?
{We officially finished off our giftcards when we purchased that mirror the other day. Thank you loved ones for helping us make our townhouse into a home! We've probably only spent about $50 of our own money on home items.
Giftcards are the bomb. Holla'!}
The guest/music/study/sewing/ironing/whatever room that I will only let you get a glimpse of because it will probably be messy for about 7 more months : ) You should've seen it 2 days ago, it was a sea of boxes and crap I've been saving up all through college and life before.
Hoarder? Kinda.
Just the hallway
Jon's favorite room ; ) The potty room is attached to our bedroom. It's a great size for the two of us.
{If you want hot water in this sink, you have to turn on the shower.}
Weird? Yes.
{Oh, whenever the neighbors turn on their water it's SO loud, so I can only imagine how annoyed they get with us, being early risers-not by choice haha- and late nighters-again, not by choice.}
Doesn't our bedding ROCK? We got it from part of Jon's fam at our shower. We love it!
Fact: if you have cute bedding, you are more likely to make your bed each day : ) Jon is a pro.
ps. thanks Dad and Deedee for the bed! We are so lucky.
THIS is our swamp cooler. It costs us like 7 bucks a month. It's the bessst.
Who woulda thought Logan could actually get really hot?
So who's ready to come visit us?
Our couch is comfy, stay a while!
Heck, I'll even make ya some dinner in one of our 4 crockpots we have left ; )
Thanks for visiting!
